Christmas time at My Teddy always starts early. Mainly because our items are custom designed and personalised so take a little time to make and send. But the great news is that you can do your Christmas shopping early, online, and avoid the crazy crowds and the peak times of shopping centres.
We love Christmas time at My Teddy and spend the months before planning which Teddy Bears we would like to offer, designing and test stitching Christmas embroidery templates and choosing the best of the personalised Santa sacks that we can find. When it gets busy, it gets really busy so planning ahead and being organised really helps.

Christmas always creeps up on us all. So ordering your Christmas bear early is more important than ever.
- At Christmas time we get very busy, so production times can slow down.
- Postal services can also become congested and take longer than usual to get your Christmas goodies too you.
- Christmas stock is in short supply and have limited numbers of certain items.
We’d hate for you to be disappointed and miss out on something you have your eye on. So the moral to the story is to order early!

The order process should only take a few minutes and we will automatically send you an order confirmation straight away to let you know your order number, and that your order has been successful. If you don’t receive this message from us, make sure you check your junk mail and payment method.
When you are ordering your soft toy or Christmas bear, feel free to tell us the colours that you would like us to use, and how you would like the embroidery to appear. We will do our best to design what you are after, but we may recommend changes from time to time, just because of our embroidery experience. We usually know what will look great. If you don’t have any ideas on the creative side, leave it to us and we’ll do our best with the experience we have, we want your custom plush toy to look the best it can.

Embroidered Bears
If you have ordered a Christmas Plush Toy we will send you a draft of how the embroidery will appears on your teddy. Please check this carefully, dates times and weights. As embroidery on our soft toys cannot be fixed.
On approving your embroidery, we will go ahead and make your teddy, and send it to you super fast! We post worldwide, but within Australia we use express post.
Within Australia, tracking details of where your bear is at any time are sent you automatically when your teddy or plushie leaves our workshop. You can follow the links from there to find out exactly where your Christmas bear is in his journey.
Please understand that when your Christmas Teddys leave here we can only track them via the link too, things take a little longer at Christmas time, so order as early as you can to avoid disappointment. Especially if your Christmas teddy is winging it’s way overseas. Postal services can vary from country to country, so the earlier the better.
My Teddy Shops with Afterpay
My Teddy was one of the earliest Afterpay shops. We’ve been asked for years if we have lay-by system, and when Afterpay came along we jumped at it! It is a perfect was for those of a budget to pay their teddy bears off in several instalments. When you Afterpay gifts with My Teddy, we will send your bear out straight away, whilst you continue to make your payments, so you have your gift well before paying the item off.

We also have a growing range of personalised santa sacks too. If you are looking to make Christmas Eve special this year, perhaps begin your family tradition with a personalised Santa sack or stocking that can be part of your Christmas Eve rituals to make the night before exciting too. There’s nothing like laying our Santa’s food and hanging up your Christmas stocking or sack to get the kids excited for the treats to come the next day. Christmas is in full swing now at My Teddy and we’ll be working through until December 20th, when we take a well deserved break with our family.
